Scripture Reflection

Midday Scripture + Reflection

Tuesdays at 12:00 PM with Rev. Karen Bridges

Take a pause in your week—online or in person—for a short time of grounding and reflection. We’ll open with prayer, read the upcoming Sunday scripture, and then take 10–15 minutes to journal, sit in silence, or simply notice what comes up.

Afterward, we’ll share our thoughts in conversation. No theology degree required—just curiosity. God’s voice shows up differently for each of us, and it’s always powerful to hear the range of insights.

Bring your Bible and a notebook if you’d like, or just bring yourself (and even your lunch).

  • Zoom link available through the church office.

Programs

Youth Group

Youth Group at Robertson-Wesley is a time for students in grades 7 to 12 to connect with each other for fun and service. We typically gather on Friday evenings from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and play games, watch movies, eat food, or volunteer in our community.

If you’d like to register or receive updates about upcoming activities, contact Kevin Guenther Trautwein (kevin.gt@rwuc.org).

Roots Of Faith

At Roots of Faith, we dig deeper into the sources of our faith to nourish our souls and inspire our action. Each series is about 10-13 weeks long and explores various topics ranging from a biblical book to contemporary writings. Everyone is welcome to drop in when they can, and readings are encouraged but not required.

This fall, Roots of Faith is studying the book, Food and Faith: A Theology of Eating, by Norman Wirzba. Join us in the Club Room on Tuesdays, 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm, or Fridays, 10:30 am - 12:00 pm. You may also contact the R-W office if you’d like to join by Zoom.

For more information, to register, or to request a copy of the book, contact Kevin Guenther Trautwein (kevin.gt@rwuc.org).
