Where Your Gift Goes

Local Ministry & Operations
When you give to Robertson-Wesley, your contribution supports our day-to-day ministry—staff, programs, outreach, and care—as well as the ongoing maintenance of our beautiful historic building, which continues to serve as a gathering place for many.

Mission & Service (M&S)
Want your gift to go further? Contributions to M&S extend our collective reach to support:

• Food banks and shelters

• Refugee resettlement and addiction recovery programs

• Clean water, medical care, and disaster relief globally

• Advocacy for those without a voice, like children and migrant workers

• Our goal is that 15% of our local giving is directed to this powerful national and global work.

Why We Give

Like many congregations in The United Church of Canada, we are fully self-supporting. That means everything we do—from Sunday services and pastoral care to community programs and building upkeep—is made possible through the generosity of people like you.

We don’t charge fees or expect a certain amount. Instead, we trust in the Spirit of generosity, knowing that when we each give what we can, the whole community thrives.

Other Ways to Support

Beyond financial gifts, our church also receives income through rentals, weddings, funerals, and fundraising. If you’d like to explore supporting us in these ways or through a legacy gift, let’s talk.

Tax Receipts

All donations are tax-deductible. Official charitable receipts are sent out early in the new year and cover all your giving, including regular offerings, M&S, and special appeals.
