Looking for a space to host your next gathering? Robertson-Wesley United Church offers a variety of rental spaces for community groups, public events, meetings, and receptions. From intimate rooms to large halls, our facilities can accommodate events of all sizes, with kitchen access available for some rentals.

Spaces & Capacity

• Sanctuary – up to 650 people

• Chapel – up to 40 people

• Memorial Hall – 180 seated dining / 200 theatre-style

• Room 11 – up to 30 people (includes 70" TV)

• Club Room – up to 10 people (includes 50" TV)

Accessibility & Support
Our building is fully accessible with an elevator serving all three levels and accessible washrooms. Memorial Hall is also equipped with a sound system and microphone. Additional equipment may be available upon request.

Booking Information
To inquire about availability and pricing, please contact our office at mail@rwuc.org or submit a Facilities Booking Request Form.

Bookings are confirmed once the office replies. The church provides set-up and take-down if details are submitted at least 48 hours in advance, with an Event Assistant available to help during most rentals.

Weddings at Robertson-Wesley

At Robertson-Wesley, we believe marriage is a covenant of love worth celebrating. We joyfully welcome all couples—of any gender identity, faith, or background—who wish to affirm their relationship and begin their life together in marriage.

Your Ceremony
Every wedding blends meaningful tradition with your unique story. Our ministers will guide you in planning a personalized service that may include prayers, vows, readings, music, or contributions from family and friends. Ceremonies can be held in our intimate Chapel (up to 60 guests) or the grand Sanctuary (up to 600 guests).

Music & Photography
Our Music Director will help you plan live music for your ceremony—organ, piano, or additional musicians. Recorded music is not used. An official photographer or videographer is welcome, with arrangements made in advance.

Facilities & Accessibility
The church is wheelchair accessible and equipped with hearing-assistance technology. Parking, floral deliveries, and rehearsal scheduling can all be arranged through the office.

Planning & Fees
The wedding fee is $1155, which includes the minister, sanctuary rental, and music. Receptions are not held on-site. Weddings may be booked up to one year in advance with a deposit. A rehearsal is typically scheduled the evening before.

Marriage Preparation
Participation in a marriage preparation program is required. We recommend programs through The Family Centre or the Community Counselling Centre.

Funerals & Memorial Services

At Robertson-Wesley, we walk alongside families with care and compassion during times of loss. Our ministers, Music Director, and facilities are available to support you in planning a service that both honours your loved one’s life and offers comfort to family and friends. Whether you choose a funeral (with the body present) or a memorial service (without the body, held at a later date), each service blends the story of your loved one with the hope of God’s promise of eternal life.

Services may be held in our sanctuary (capacity ~600) or smaller chapel (capacity ~40) and can also be livestreamed for those unable to attend in person. Families are welcome to personalize the service with music, photos, or other meaningful elements.

For those connected to Robertson-Wesley, our Memorial Garden offers a peaceful resting place for cremated remains, with a plaque and entry in our Memorial Book to honour their memory.
