Being able to offer healing love to another is an act of faith, is an act of compassion, is and act of love. What we have lost from this time of COVID is the simple and powerful act of touch and connection and care. Jesus shows us the importance of accepting what is offered in love, and allows himself to be embraced as he draws closer to death. How will we offer and be open to receiving the love and care of the faith community? Acts of reconciliation come in many forms, and in all cases the ritual is mutually engaged.
