Robertson-Wesley is a large urban church located at the western end of the downtown core in the Oliver community of Edmonton AB. We seek a second full-time minister (OM/DM) with responsibilities for congregation and community development for our ministerial team. Skills necessary would be: warm, outgoing personality; respect for scholarship; and honouring the gifts and dedication of others. The ministers are the face of the congregation in the wider context and reflect our faith.
Responsibilities for this position include: family & children ministry; youth & young adult ministry; outreach ministry; and social justice ministry. Shared responsibilities with the team minister; worship; pastoral care; governance; administration; weddings/funerals; and continuing education. Applicants must be eligible for ordination or commissioning within the United Church of Canada.
