flowers for worship every Sunday morning

Flowers Every Week

We invite you to take part in offering flowers to our sanctuary. Anyone can donate flowers to be displayed for Sunday morning worship. Flowers can be donated to celebrate any season or to mark an important day, anniversary or in memory of someone.

To donate: just bring your bouquet on Sunday morning and give it to an usher! Remember: take it home with you or gift it to someone to take home with them.

If you let the Church office know by Wednesday at noon, before the Sunday you choose, we can mark the occasion in the bulletin.

The Church office cannot receive donations of flowers on your behalf.

With deep gratitude for the ministry of the Flower Group over the last 8 decades, this is how we will receive flowers during the transition as we explore new ways to continue this ministry.

At Easter, hydrangeas are placed as memorials to decorate the Sanctuary after orders are taken in the weeks prior to Palm Sunday, and the flowers can be picked up after the service to be part of the donors' Easter celebration.

The Flower Group celebrated their 80th anniversary with an elegant garden party and tea at the beautiful garden of Betty Jean and David Buchanan. The weather was graciously cooperative, the turn-out was well over 100, and some $6,200 was raised for the Flower Group's anniversary project, the renovation of our stained-glass windows.
