Young Adult MinistryPrograms for twenty and thirty-somethings Young Adults Just as we have rooms for youth, there is also a hang-out spot for young adults. Also in the lower hall, "Wesley's" is a room to get together, have a coffee or tea and get to know other young adults in the congregation. Check out the bulletin board to see what activities are going on.
Alternative Worship: Outside the Box Approximately 8 times a year, there is an eco-focused evening worship
service. This 7:00 pm service is for anyone who would like to worship
in a less formal way. God-on-tapOn the first Friday of each month, we get together at a local bar to connect with old friends and make new ones, to hang out and discuss life's big questions.
New Families Supportive friends are important when you’re a new couple or
family, especially when you’re a parent for the first time. Several
times a year, we hold young couple potlucks
after worship, a great opportunity to get together with other couples
and parents. Opportunities to GrowThere are great opportunities to explore theology at Robertson-Wesley. The Pathways Centre is an educational forum for cutting-edge, progressive Christian faith and theological reflection. Programming is offered each fall and winter. There are also many opportunities for volunteering. Examples include
the monthly Community Dinners for those who are struggling to get by,
the weekly Food Bank depot, and our ad hoc social justice group. |
