New CD (2009)The latest recording of our choirs is available
Robertson-Wesley United Church musicians launched a new CD in 2009 in celebration of the Robertson and Wesley 100th anniversaries called “Song Forever New”.
The Choir of R-W, R-W Ringers and Tammy-Jo Mortensen have recorded a bouquet of favourites. The pieces have been chosen because they are meaningful to us and to the history of both Robertson and Wesley congregations. Many of the tracks are by composers who are former music directors or former choristers and much of the music has been written specifically or commissioned for the music groups here. The R-W CD was nominated in the recording category for the Association of Canadian Choral Communities awards.
