Sunday Mornings

Everyone has a place at Robertson-Wesley, especially when we come together to worship on Sunday morning. Children and parents start worship together while youth head downstairs to check in with friends for Youth Worship. After a blessing shared between adults and children, our Kids' Church leaders head downstairs with the children for their own worship time. Visiting children and youth are welcome to participate. We have designated quiet areas in the chapel for toddlers with easy access to our nursing area and washrooms equipped with baby changing tables. Children and youth return before the end of the service so that we can all be commissioned together.

After worship, everyone is welcome to gather in Memorial Hall for food and fellowship. There is a children's play area for those feeling energetic and a table for kids who want to take part in quieter activities.

On Sundays when there are no children's and youth programs, a portion of the service is set aside as a "Time for All Ages."

Family Fun

A few times a year we take time to have fun as a whole church family. At the beginning of the programming year we take time after worship for some fun outdoor activities. Epiphany Sunday is carnival time. At the end of January we celebrate Scottish and Atlantic Canadian culture at our "Robbie Burns Kitchen Party." Kids and adults alike enjoy pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. The BBQ on Promotion Sunday is always a hit. For upcoming events, check out the Calendar of Events or our News page.

Young Couples' Potlucks

Meet young couples' of all persuasions, remembering of course that "young" is relative. Bring your favourite dish... and your other half. Childcare provided. Contact the office for more details.
